Our Scandinavian Full Scribe log profiles provide for a tight, permanent fit, and our wall log systems are custom milled with our Swedish Cope Profile and Saddle-Notched Corner System for unsurpassed performance. 6”, 8”, 10” & 12” milled diameter profiled logs available.

Our logs are always KILN Dried, ensuring dimensionally stable logs that are resistant to shrinkage, checking, cracking and twisting - before, during and after installation. Kiln drying kills any insects, insect eggs, larvae, parasites, fungus, or mold that could possibly be in the wood after a tree is harvested, meeting or exceeding specified phytosanitary import/export requirements. Our wood is not “air dried” or “standing dead” harvested timber.

We “set the pitch” – Our unique process of setting the pitch (sap) in our wood changes its chemical makeup, helping to crystalize and lock the sap inside of the log, helping keep it from seeping to the surface in the future. Air drying or standing dead timber cannot achieve this.

We use Red Pine, White Pine, White Cedar and Spruce logs, harvested fresh from sustainably-managed forests. Sustainably-managed forests reflect responsible stewardship and use of forests and forest lands, while meeting the needs of wildlife, supporting livelihoods and providing many other ecosystem services, such as carbon storage and flood and fire risk mitigation.

Each individual milled log is independently quality certified & stamped by Timber Products Inspection - an independent, third party, internationally recognized and accredited certification company that assigns quality and stress grades to all our logs and timbers utilizing nationally recognized standards, giving you piece of mind knowing your logs are properly dried and quality tested. Your logs will always exceed ASTM D3957 and International ICC-400 Log Building Code standards.
